One reason for the Bacon's Rebellion was that the indentured servants were put way out in the Piedmont with the savage Indians and they had to fight constantly.
Another reason that the rebellion started was that the indentured servants wanted women and to have a family and there were no women in the area for that to happen. The servants asked the House of Burgesses for help but they had a secret pact with the Indians that allowed them to trade for furs and they didn't want to risk the relationship with the Indians just to protect the Indentured servants. Overall the aristocrats and landowners that lived in the tidewater region didn't really care much at all about the indentured servants that lived out on the Piedmont and this eventually caused a rebellion that would not end peacefully.
